dc.description.abstractThis work, carried out as part of a graduation project, aims to design and study a bridge located between kilometer points 00+262 and 00+493, with a total length of 231 meters. This bridge is part of a railway reinstatement project and the removal of a level crossing in the El Kerma area of Oran. The introduction of this thesis provides a bibliographical study on the phenomenon of torsion in bridges. Following a project presentation, the structural design began by proposing three distinct variants to meet the project's requirements. The optimal design was selected based on a multi-criteria analysis; the chosen structure is a constant-depth segmental bridge constructed using the balanced cantilever method. A detailed study of the superstructure and substructure was then carried out, including prestress design, seismic analysis, and the dimensioning of the various bridge components. Modeling was performed using Midas Civil software, and design checks were carried out in accordance with applicable standards and codes.
